Aomori Tourist Spot Video Clips
“Aomori Tourist Spot Video Clips" featuring various tourist sites, historic places, landscapes, and festivals in Aomori Prefecture, was established in April 2011 to promote Aomori where even more tourists are expected to visit by the completion of the Tohoku Shinkansen Line all the way from Tokyo to Aomori.
We have newly developed the English version to put Aomori on the world map
and broadcast the charms of Aomori. Four of the most famous and exciting summer festivals are introduced at this time, and English narration will be
provided shortly.
We would like to extend vitality of Aomori across Japan, ultimately to all over the world, which can contribute to the revitalization of Tohoku region as well as throughout Japan. More videos will be coming soon on the English page.
 - Aomori Nebuta Festival and Nebuta-no-Sato
- Aomori Nebuta Festival is one of the three major festivals in Tohoku region representing Japan's fire festivals. Held from Aug 2nd to 7th.
 - Hirosaki Neputa Festival
- About 70 gorgeous Neputa floats parade the town. Designated as a national important intangible folk-cultural property in 1980. Held from Aug 1st to 7th.
 - Goshogawara Tachi-Neputa
- Gigantic 22 meter tall Tachi-Neputa floats parade the town. Held from Aug 4th to 8th.
